Really nice room. Really clean. Hard to find though. No sign. And DO NOT CONTINUE down the access road if you drive a big vehicle. It completely dead ends . I had to turn around a 45' long f350 and trailer at the end of it with no place to do it. Not fun especially when you're exhausted

Staff were very friendly, but the pillows were small and lumpy; we were too tired to ask for anything else after a very long day of driving. The facility is clearly older; the shower faucet was broken and almost came out of the wall when we started up the shower.
The main reason we booked the hotel was because of breakfast provided and a hot tub. Hot tub hours were not good; closes at 7! Did not get to hotel in time to even use it. Breakfast was ok. Again staff were kind, just was not impressed with the facility.

Overall, it was an OKAY stay, but there are better hotels in Slidell. The 2nd floor hall was SO STUFFY it was stifling. The room smelled extremely musty. I thought the bed was going to be too musty for me to sleep in, but it wasn't. The bed smelled fine and it actually slept very well. The coffee was VERY good and the staff tending to breakfast were friendly and attentive. When we first got there the front desk agent was VERY rude, but... It was a bad storm and it had knocked out their internet and she was frustrated with trying to get people checked in, so I would overlook that. I came down in the middle of the night to get something from my car. It was a little after midnight, and I wanted to ask for an extra blanket, too. I walked right out the front door and right back in the front door without anyone at the front desk noticing. There were two younger people there on computers with their headphones on. There was a sign saying someone would be back in five minutes. After waiting five minutes and no one came back. I signaled to get the attention of the people on the computer and they helped me. If they were supposed to be watching the front desk, they were not doing a good job. AND... it was dangerous. The front door was wide open. Someone could have come through that door and be behind the desk and they would have never known they were there. Made me fearful for them. Other than the smell, the room was okay... And I mean just okay.

Friendly staff and a super comfortable bed made our stay enjoyable. Our only concern was that FOX News was playing in the lobby every time we were there made us question if this hotel was inclusive and safe for diverse guests.

My usual mid trip stop! I drive from West Virginia home to Texas several times a year, I always try to get to the Slidell, LA La Quinta by the end of my 1st day. It’s always clean, always comfortable and there’s always a friendly face at the front desk to greet me when I arrive.

The bed was comfy. The breakfast was underwhelming. They were out of biscuits to use with the gravy. No fruit available. The breakfast area was not being cleaned as the morning went on. Staff was friendly. No phone in the room. The lobby was nice but the rooms were nothing special.

I had some car problems so we had an unexpected stay in Slidell. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was clean, and comfortable which is all we could ask for. Thanks!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful but maintenence sermed lacking. My first room had a very loud fan on HVAC unit so i had to move to another room where the TV didn’t work. Front desk person had to come to room to reset and rescan TV. No phones in room so it meant 3 trips from 3rd floor to front desk to resolve the issues. It had been a long day of travel so i was definitely not Happy.
